North Caucasian etymology :

Proto-North Caucasian: *ṭimƛwV
Meaning: pimple
Notes: Reconstructed for the PEC level. Not very widely spread, but phonetically reliable. It is interesting to note the dialectal Lak. (Khosr.) form ṭinx 'pimple'; since literary Lak. has ṭink, the Khosr. form must be borrowed from some Lezgian source.
