Notes: If the Abkh. form is really related to EC (which is semantically and phonetically quite possible - resonants regularly disappearing in PWC and *ƛ̣ giving a palatalised reflex *ĺ before a front vowel), this will be one of the few common NC names for measures of length. See Dumézil 1933, 15.
An interesting form is Georg. adli 'cubit' - it may reflect a loan from early PWC (*a-Ł́ǝ); Georg. > Osset. adli / adili (see Abayev 1958, 30).
