The EC reconstruction is more secure, although Lak. -r- and PL *-r- corresponding to PA *-n- should be explained: most probably -r- penetrated here from a suffixed form *Hānʒ́_V-rV- (cf., e.g., Cham. hanc̣i-ra-).
