Proto-Tsezian: *ṭɨq̇ʷV (~ *ṭuq̇V)
Meaning: sole of foot
Bezhta: ṭuq̇a
Comments: Attested only in Bezht., but having probable external parallels (although there is a small chance that the Bezht. form is borrowed from Av.: cf. Av. ṭiq̇:ʷá 'horseshoe; sole', Chad. ṭuq̇én 'horseshoe', Andal. uq̇:a id. < *ƛ̣iq̇:ʷa; in that case the Bezht. word is to be kept apart from the PN and PL forms).
