Comments: On basis of Chech. c̣eca- and Ing. cic- (with assimilation < c̣ic-) a PN paradigm *c̣ic, *c̣aci- can be reconstructed. The simple root is not attested; it is present only within a compound *c̣aci-joqqV-riḳ (*c̣ic-joqqV-riḳ), distorted phonetically in Ing. cicχolg, and meaning literally "a big *c̣ic" (*j-oqqa 'big'). The same root with a simple diminutive suffix *c̣ic-iḳ (and with assimilation > *cic-iḳ) means "cat" in Chech.-Ing. (Chech. cicig, Ing. cisḳ).
