Comments: 3d class in all languages. The vocalism is somewhat unclear (in particular, Bacb. -u- is unclear); ṭ- in Ing. is a result of early assimilation (*doχḳV- > *ṭoχḳV-). The word has a *-n-suffix in Bacb. and a -r-suffix in Ing. (reflecting the oblique base, cf. Chech. döχkara-). Cf. also Chech. Cheb. djeχku, Khild. ṭjoχkŭ etc.
