Meaning : to swell, bloat, boil
Notes : Burrow & Emeneau join this with *ur- "to boil, swell", and there is indeed a form urbu in Kannada; however, secondary dissimilation is not excluded (or a contamination with *ur-). No other languages show any sign of an inlaut resonant.
