Комментарии: The inlaut -y- is reconstructed: a) because of the vocalism (*-āyC- > Kui -aC-, Kuwi -eyC-); b) because Kuwi *-h- sometimes < *-ɣ- (cf. *neɣi > Kuwi nehi). The plural, which was often formed without the *-ṛi suffix, went like this: *nāykVka > *nehka > *neska (in Kuwi, where the combination -hk- does not exist); > *nahka (in Kui).
