Notes : The cluster *-yr- is reconstructed here on the basis of external data (cf. Gondi pōyaṛ, Manda pūdaṛ id.) and also matches the correspondences in 1615. Joining it with *potl- 'father-in-law', as B&E do, is probably justified on a higher level, but not here.
