Comments: This stem is confused with *qaʁqu- 'bread', *qaŋqu- 'crab' in CED. Here, however, it is most probably a borrowing from PKCh *keɣʷǝ-ŋ 'cartilage' (more exactly - directly from PK *k'ewŭŋ ", on phonetic grounds).
