Tibetan: jaŋ-po light (in weight); kjaŋ straight, slender.
Burmese: kjaŋ be thin, slender.
Lushai: zāŋ (zān) be light in weight; be easy, KC *yāŋʔ.
Kiranti: *jaŋ
Comments: Trung ńaŋ2 light in weight; PG *jàŋ light (in weight; Thebor yāŋ (-ko) id.; Miju kɨ-juŋ, Sulung *yVŋ 'small'. There is also a number of not quite clear forms: Jnp. caŋ ( < *k-jaŋ ?), Mikir ardźaŋ, BG: Dimasa redźeŋ, Garo rittśeŋ (Sh. 42, 136; Ben. 71). A form like *K-jaŋ could give rise to OCh. 輕 *kheŋ light; the latter form, however, can also be reconstructed as *khleŋ and compared to PLB *laŋ light.
