Comments: Chepang rok-ju rat; Mikir phi-dźu; Namsangia dźu-pu; Kanauri pyu rat; Bahing ; Rgyar. pu-yu rat. Sh. 42, 134, 430; Ben. 32. The OCh. form (especially if it has *Ł-, suggested by xie-sheng) should perhaps be rather compared with Jnp. sǝlo3 flying squirrel, yielding a reconstruction *ƛǝ̆w.
