Meaning: mouth, jaw
Tibetan: mur-goŋ the temples, mur-ãgram jaw, jaw-bone, mur-tho ulcer in the mouth, rmur to gnaw and bite each other, mur-ba to gnaw, masticate, mur gills.
Lushai: hmūr point, tip, end, KC *hmūr (Thado mu beak, Khoibu mur).
Comments: Rawang mr face; mouthful; Newari hmu-tu. Sh. 161; Ben. 78. Not quite clear is the relationship of OCh. 吻 *m_ǝnʔ corner of lips, shut the lips; Lush. hmūi the lips; upper lip.
