Proto-Sino-Tibetan: *kuɫ
Meaning: twenty; big number, all
Tibetan: kun (Ld. kol) all, every, each; whole.
Burmese: kun to come to an end, be exhausted; sign of the plural.
Kachin: khun1 twenty; (Mat.) niŋgon2 all, whole.
Lushai: KC *m-kul twenty > Haka kul.
Lepcha: kha twenty; gŭn all, every, total, each, whole ( < Tib.?)
Kiranti: *khǝ̀l-
Comments: BG: Dimasa khon twenty, Garo khol id. Sh. 46, 47, 409; Ben. 18, 83. Maybe one should distinguish between *khuɫ ( ~ g(h)-) 'all, many' and *kuɫ 'twenty'. Cf. PAA *kVl 'ten' (?).
