Comments: Thankur pǝr finger-breadth, cipǝr to catch with nails. A possible derivate is Tib. bran finger, toe (cf. also Balti phran-zuk; Kanauri pra-ts; Thebor braŋ finger, pra-tś thumb, see Sh. 137).
