Comments: Bodo mén little; Kanauri mi; Vayu mĭ; Hrusso B mī́. Sh. 171. Cf. also OCh. 微 *mǝj minute, small, ? Jnp. ǝmun small dust-like particles. There apparently also existed a synonymous root *mar - reflected in Bodo *mǝr, Magar mar-khe, Ersu mar.55 mar.55 'small', but in most languages it is difficult to distinguish from *mājH.
