Burmese: krit, kjit to crush down with a grinding motion, to bruise, squeeze, rub, grind, rit to reap, shear, shave.
Kachin: (Mat.) krit2 to grind (probably < Burm.); ǝkhret3, mǝkhret2, khret2 to rasp, grate, mǝret2, ǝgret3 to scratch, as a thorn, makret2, (H) kret to gnaw.
Lushai: rīt (riʔ) to cut or make or repair (as a road), to dig or cut or scrape with a hoe.
