Comments: Mat. 164. Cf. Motuo-Monpa ga-daŋ 'hand'. It is possible that the word for 'ear' in some TB languages also reflects a compound with this root: cf. Serdukpen khu-thuŋ, Dhimal nha-toŋ, Phom thoŋ, Rengma ńe-tiŋ.
