Tibetan: ãtud (p. btud, f. gdud, i. dud, thud) to bend or bow down, to make a bow, ãdud (p. btud etc.) to bend or bow down.
Burmese: tut to bend without breaking, to kneel.
Comments: Luce 50. The OCh. form may be fictitious; it occurs since Late Zhou and is sometimes regarded as a loan for 屈 *khut to bend.
