Комментарии: Av. paradigm C (ƛ̣:urú-l,ƛ̣:úra-bi; Chad. id.). Cf. also Cham. Gig. ƛ̣:udu, Kar. Anch. ƛ̣:era, Tok. ƛ̣:uri. PA *-r(H)- is reflected in And. and Kar. dialects (Bagv. -r- can reflect both *-r- and *-d-); other languages reflect the variant *ƛ̣:ʷir-dV > *ƛ̣:ʷidV.
Комментарии: Av. paradigm A (gen. ṭá-dul). Cf. also Akhv. Tseg. ṭali, Tl. ṭander, Ratl. ƛ̣ãder (all Akhv. forms except Tseg. go back to a suffixed form *ƛ̣ol-di-r), Kar. Arch. ale, Rach. ƛ̣ale, Chab. ṭala, Tok. alʔi, Cham. Gig. al.
Комментарии: Av. paradigm C (ṭomó-l,ṭóma-l). The root means both 'roof' and 'skin' in several languages: in Av. cf. Chad. ṭom, Gid. ƛ̣om, Ants. ƛ̣om / ṭom 'roof'; in Akhv. cf. N.-Akhv. ƛ̣ami 'roof', Tlan. ṭama 'skin', Ratl. ƛ̣ami 'roof; skin'. Cf. also Bagv. Kvan. ḳ́ama, Cham. Gig. am, Gad. nabu ( < *ƛ̣am-bu), Kar. Tok. amʔi. There is certainly no reason to separate forms meaning 'roof' from those meaning 'skin' ('roof of body').
Комментарии: The root has clearly a lateral initial (with some variations in strength) and should be kept distinct from PA *ḳonč:V q.v. (however, the two roots may have mutually influenced each other). Cf. also Av. Andl. ƛ̣inč:, Unt. ƛ̣enčro id.

Аварский:ṭi 2
Чадаколоб:ṭʷi 3
Ахвахский:ƛ̣uhur (Ratl.) 1
Тиндинский:ubar 1
Комментарии: Av. paradigm unknown. Cf. also Akhv. Tseg. ṭobor, Tlan. ṭor 'shed'. The Proto-Av. form *ƛ̣ʷi is either a contraction of *ƛ̣ʷibi, or (which is more probable) a result of reinterpreting *-bV as a plural affix. Tind. > Inkh. uber 'shed' (a late loan, after *ƛ̣- > 0- in Tindi).
Комментарии: The root *lan- ( ~ -o-) is accompanied by original case suffixes (-ze in Av., *-dV in PA). In Tindi there occurred a dissimilation (dandi < *landi; cf. an analogous process in Akhv. Ratl. rodi-li = Tseg. lod-le id.); in Bagv. - an assimilation (nid < *lan-di; cf. an analogous process in Kar. Tok. nadi-ba id.).
