Comments: PTsKh *ƛɨn. Since the word is no doubt related to Av. ƛ̣:oʕén, it can not be regarded as a loan from Tind. naƛ:u 'shelf'; we should rather suppose the opposite direction of borrowing (although metathesis in Tindi is strange in any case).
Comments: PGB *ƛɔχ- (with unclear second parts both in Bezht. and in Gunz.; in Bezht. Khosh. two variants are recorded by MSU: ƛaχdami and ƛaχami). The same root is used in compound verbs: Bezht. ƛaχa gul- 'to scrape, scratch', ƛaχ-ƛ- 'to comb' (trans.), ƛaχ-dah- id. (intrans.).
Comments: PTsKh *ƛɨχǝ- ( ~ -i-, -ǝ-) is reflecting the old oblique base (with Ablaut) *ƛɨχ:ǝ- (cf. also Tsez. ƛeχu 'thin log').
There exists also a PTs variant *ƛuχ(u), reflected in Gin. ƛuhu 'beam' and PGB *ƛuʁ (*ƛũʁ) > Bezht. Tlad. ƛuʁ 'ceiling', Gunz. ƛũhi 'on the ceiling'. It is interesting to note Avar forms: Av. ƛ:uʁúr, Chad. ƛuhur 'planking (for the ceiling)' - which in this case are probably old borrowings from the neighbouring Tsez languages (genuine relationship is excluded for phonetic reasons).
Comments: PTsKh *ƛʷǝza, obl. *ƛʷǝzǝ-RV-, PGB *ƛora. In PTs the oblique base must have been *ƛʷɨrV-z:a-, whence, with metathesis, *ƛʷɨz:Vra- (> PTsKh *ƛʷǝzǝ-RV-; the PTsKh direct base *ƛʷǝza is a secondary analogous building).
Comments: PTsKh *ƛ̣aR (the semantic shift 'stone' > 'trap' /probably through 'stone plate, lid'/ is rather common, cf., e.g. the development of PEC *q̇wiɫV 'rock, stone' in Andian languages). PGB *ƛ̣ɔlu (-ɔ- is not quite clear: -a- would be normally expected).
Comments: PGB *ƛ̣ǝra. Some recordings are problematic: Bokarev had recorded Bezht. Tlad. ƛ̣era and Gunz. ƛ̣era; all MSU recordings, however, are in accordance with Madieva's Bezht. ƛ̣öwa (cf. Bezht. Tlad., Khosh. ƛ̣ora, Gunz. Nakh. ƛ̣ǝra).
