Comment: The Tab. form contains a *-j-suffix (muq̇u < *mVq̇uj). The vocalism is hard to establish because of assimilation in the first syllable of a disyllabic word in Tab., and because of the general unreliability of the Udi vocalism; the only certain thing is that the root vowel was not *a.
Comment: This MSU Kandik recording must be probably corrected to marʁa (there are no long vowels in Tab.). The form marʁa presupposes a PL form *mVrq:a-j.
