Пракуи-куви:*vār-
Значение:to be wearied, tired, cramped after exertion
Дополнительные формы:Also Kui_W tēru (pl. tērka) a shoot, bud (?bamboo shoot)
Комментарии:The initial t- in Kuttia is absolutely irregular. Since the root itself goes back to *vedur-, this makes the situation somewhat similar to PK *pdōr- 'name', except that in 'name' Kui has initial *p-. If it is possible to suggest two different developments: *pd- > *p- and *vd- > *t-, the form above should be reconstructed as *vdēr-, with no irregularities.
Куи:vṛēpa (vṛēt-) "to return, come back again, retreat; n. return, retreat"

Парджа куви:vergu (pl. verka) "firewood, fuel"
Куви (Израэль):vegu (pl. veska) "firewood, fuel"
Комментарии:The cluster *-Rg- here > -g- in most Kuwi dialects, unlike the same cluster in *kuRgu > Kuwi *kudgu. However, external data makes it absolutely certain that we deal here with the same cluster.
Куи:vēva (vēt-) "to be cooked, well cooked or boiled, (forest) to be fired, burned"
Кхуттия куи:ve- (-t-) "to be burnt"
Куви (Фитцджеральд):veyali (vet-) "to catch fire"
Куви (Шульце):weh'nai "to oppress"
Сункараметта куви:veh- (-it-) "to be hot"

Дополнительные формы:Also Kui veha cooked rice; vehpa (veht-) to be hot (liquids, cooked food); Kuwi_F vehini hot; Kuwi_S wespini, wehini warm; wehu ray (wēḍawehu); Kuwi_Su ve- (-t-) to be burnt; vese lēska summer season (i. e. hot months); Kuwi_Isr ve- (-t-) to be burnt, cooked
Комментарии:The difference between the simple form *ve- and the suffixed *ves- seems to go back to further than PK, probably even PDR: *ve- is 'to cook, burn', while *ves- always has the meaning 'to be hot'.
