Донгрийя куви:oc- (-it-) "to put on, wear (loincloth)"
Дополнительные формы:Also Kui pl. action oska (oski-)
Комментарии:This root has been confounded by B&E with PK *suc-. There certainly has been a little contamination between these two roots in different dialects; however, it is nothing compared to the way this root has been treated by B&E. They managed to insert it into THREE different items (sic!), with the forms horribly mixed-up. See DED 1012, 2715 and 2895 for detail. In Kuwi_S, strangely, we have a t-conjugation form.
Дополнительные формы:Also Kui oṭka (oṭki-) pl. action; Kuwi_S othpinai to heal; otpinai to cleanse; otpi kēpinai to clean; Kuwi_Isr oṭ- (-h-) to strain, filter; oṭpi ki- to make clean, cause to be clean

Пракуи-куви:*oḍ- (*-ṭ-) (?)
Значение:to swear
Куи:oḍa (oḍi-) "to swear an oath; n. swearing"
Куви (Фитцджеральд):ō̆tali "to take an oath"
Куви (Шульце):ottinai
Куви (Израэль):oṭu "proof"
Комментарии:The inlaut consonant is impossible to determine. Some of the forms may be borrowed from Telugu, or all of them may be.
Комментарии:Putting this root together with *uṇ- 'to drink' is difficult from the phonetical as well as the semantical point of view, at least on the PK level.
Дополнительные формы:Also Kui opa (ot-) to lead away, take away (persons); n. act of leading away
Комментарии:An interesting interpretation of the causative form: 'take away' - 'lead away' instead of 'make to take away'. The form itself is slightly irregular (*ōppa < *ōv+pa would be expected); this suggests that it is somewhat more archaic than the regular innovations, maybe dating from a Proto-Kui period when there was no epenthetic -v- in the verbal noun.

Пракуи-куви:*ōc-
Значение:side; step-
Куи:osan āba, osan tanji "stepfather"
Куви (Шульце):ōca tanji "stepfather"
Куви (Израэль):ōca "to one side"
Дополнительные формы:Also Kui osan aja, osan ṭaḍi stepmother; Kuwi_S, Kuwi_Isr ōca talli stepmother
Комментарии:The vowel is irregularly short in Kui, probably because of contraction of two words and possible reduction of the first one.
Дополнительные формы:Also Kui ṛōnḍu in a previous year, year before last; vāṛonḍi next year, year after next; Kuwi_Su, Kuwi_Isr īyona this year; Kuwi_Su, Kuwi_Isr vāṇona next year
Комментарии:The prefixed forms are as follows: a) "last year" - PK *rānḍu (initial ṛ- in some dialects by assimilation with the inlaut retroflex); this initial *r- probably is the same with r- in 'yesterday' (dating back from PDR *ner_-); b) "year before last" - PK *rōnḍu, where *ro- is certainly the same with ro- in 'the day before yesterday' and should probably be traced back to *ro- 'one'; c) 'next year' - *vāṛonḍ- (in Kuwi_P the root 'year' itself is probably missing, while in Kuwi_S there have been some assimilation processes).
