Кетский:kъ̄qtɨ1, South. kъ̄qt; pl. kʌqtan5 "neck, collar"
Югский:kъxtɨ1, pl. kʌxtɨnɨŋ5
Коттский:agántan, *agantán, pl. -tanaŋ "collar"
Примечания:ССЕ 237. Werner 1, 475 <*kǝqtǝ>; the reconstruction *kǝqǝnt- is commented as "diese Rekonstruktion geht eher vom kot. Wort aus" - which is completely true.
Праенисейский:*kǝqVn
Значение:fox, lynx
Кетский:kʌ:n (Кастр.: kèaʁan), pl. kъ̄n / kʌʁɨn6 'fox'
Югский:kʌxɨn5, pl. kʌxɨnɨŋ6 'fox'
Коттский:agan, *āgan, pl. aganan, āgatn "lynx" (ср. еще šumarč-ōgana, *šumurč-ōgana, pl. -ōgatn "fox")
Примечания:ССЕ 237. Werner 1, 469 *kʌqǝn. Note that Werner separates the Kott. word and compares it with Ket. ajɣan 'песец', reconstructing a separate protoform PY *ajgǝn 'lynx, polar fox' (1, 21). The Ket form, however, is a transparent compound *ʔaj-kǝqVn 'jumping fox' (see *ʔaj-), while the Kott. form agan is a simplex and a quite regular development of *kǝqVn (with the same initial dissimilation cf. *kǝqVnt- 'throat' > Kott. agante).
Примечания:ССЕ 237. A contracted form is probably present in Ket śuk-kɔĺ 'back of head' (*suga 'back' + *k[ǝ]ŕga 'head') (Werner's 2, 212 analysis as śuk 'back' + hɔĺ 'face, form' seems less likely). The PY reconstruction is somewhat complicated: Werner (1, 460) reconstructs <*kʌj- / *kʌl->, not specifying what he means by such an alternation. The equation Ket kʌjga = Arin kolḱā speaks unambiguously of PY *k[ǝ]ŕga. The word may indeed be an old compound with an unclear second part *-ga (as Werner writes ibid.); for the first part cf. Ket kʌ́je (ibid.) 'head; head, leader' - but this can be just a dialectal (Southern) variant pronunciation of the same kʌjga.
Примечания:ССЕ 238. Cf. a similarly structured Yug fʌrɨŋ5 fɨ:hš́ "tussock" (where the second part probably reflects PY *pɨ̄-s- 'bent, crooked, bend'). Selk. kotpas "hill' (see Хелимский КС 241), therefore, is most probably < Ket. See Werner 1, 470 (with many doubts, but no different solution).
Праенисейский:*ki- (~g-)
Значение:trap
Кетский:kī, pl. kiʔŋ2
Югский:ki, pl. kiʔŋ2
Примечания:ССЕ 238. Werner 1, 435.
Праенисейский:*ki- (~g-)
Значение:to steer, steersman
Кетский:kītɛtɛŋ1
Югский:kitatiŋ5
Примечания:ССЕ 238. A compound, with *tat(Vŋ) 'straight, straight through' in the second part. Werner 1, 436 (without reconstruction).
Примечания:ССЕ 239. Werner 1, 435-436 *ki / *kiʔ. Since k- here is clearly a preverb, the actual root may be in fact the same as *ʔīGV 'whet, sharpen' q.v.
Примечания:ССЕ 238. It is unclear whether the same stem can be discovered in Kott. ujākŋ, *ujāx "hundred" (perhaps a compound of *kiʔ with a pronominal element uju "he" ~ ujō "that"?). Werner 1, 434.
