Kottish:d́-äja-ŋ 'I become', d́-ä-u 'you become' etc.
Comments:Werner 1, 11 (without reconstruction).
Proto-Yenisseian:*ʔa- (~x-)
Meaning:a k. of water-worm (вьюн)
Ket:ateŋ6 (Kur.), Bak. atij6, South. atiɣ6; pl. aten5, ati:n
Comments:A compound with *c[ī]k. Werner 1, 77 (without reconstruction).
Proto-Yenisseian:*ʔa (~x-)
Meaning:to eat
Ket:dīvǝ1 (Kur.) , Bak., Sur. dībǝ1, South. dīṕ/ dīf́ ( < dīv́) "I eat"; Kur. dūvǝ1, Bak., Sur. dūbǝ1, South. dūṕ / dūf́ "he eats"; (Werner 1, 194) dia-d-ɔ 'ich esse ihn", di:-d-ɔ 'ich esse sie'; cf. also a 'sich verschlucken' (Werner 1, 11)
Yug:dīp "I eat", dūp "he eats"; cf. also ɔ 'sich verschlucken' (Werner 1, 224)
Comments:Werner 1, 359 *a: the root is discernible in the Ket and Yug forms, and Werner must be right in separating it from Kott. ōpaŋ 'to drink'. The reconstruction *ʔVbV in КС... should therefore be abolished. Cf. *ʔop.
Proto-Yenisseian:*ʔaʔaj (~x-,-G-,-χ-)
Meaning:to gather (berries, mushrooms)
Ket:d-aj-uɣavet 'ich sammle es' (North., Werner 1, 90)
Comments:ССЕ 178-179. Note the derivative with prefixed *d- (= ПСК *r-ĕƛ̣_Ĕ). Werner 1, 24 *al (disregarding his own transcription aʔĺ, aʔl in Werner 1977).
Comments:ССЕ 179. Already in PY we have a compound of *ʔat- with a not quite clear second component (*-to or *-tol ~ *tor1: cf. perhaps Ket. tōĺ "wattle fence"?). Similarity with Hung. ajtó 'door' (Хелимский КС 248), is probably coincidental (or represents an old "Hunnic" loanword in Hungarian). Werner 1, 80.
Comments:ССЕ 179. Werner 1, 85 <*aʎ>; although Yug. -r in ār is unclear, the lateral or trill is definitely not reconstructable because of the attested form ā; it is also impossible to treat -ɣ- as an "Interfix".
Proto-Yenisseian:*ʔaj- ( ~ *x-)
Meaning:to damn; to become angry; to be evil, bad
Ket:ájaŋ / ájeŋ 'to damn'; ájet 'to become angry'; áj-t-a 'to be bad, evil'
Comments:Werner 1, 18 (without reconstruction). One is also tempted to compare Ket ɛʔk / ɛk, Yug ɛk 'how, as; so as' (Werner 1, 228, 256) with a possible protoform *eʔx; the forms Ket, Yug aj in that case can be (with Ablaut) traced back to *ʔa(ʔ)x-i.
Comments:ССЕ 179. The component *aj- meaning 'to jump, roll over' can also be recovered in several composita: Yug. ajāxn3 'перекат на реке' ("jumping tree"); Kur. ajɣan6, Bak., Sur. aj-gan6 / aj-gɔ:n3, Yug. aj-gɔn3 'песец' ("jumping fox"; see also under *kǝqVn). Unclear is the relationship of Ket., Yug. aj-tej5 'bad'. Werner 1, 19 *ajǝ / *ajgǝ 'coire' (with doubts as to the relationship of words meaning 'jump' and 'play').
Comments:ССЕ 179. Werner 1, 17 suggests a connection with Ket. áɣitka, Yug. ágɨt' 'behind' - which would favour a reconstruction with velar *-k- or *-x-.
