Cf. in Bezht. χu-ƛ- 'to drink', χu-rah- 'to drink (often)', suggesting that the original form was *χ:ʷi-, with a later transfer of labialisation: *χ:ʷi-ƛ- > *χ:i-ƛʷ-.
